What began as a small credit union serving federal employees in 1935, when loans were made on good faith and a handshake, is today a full service financial institution serving more than 30,000 members in North Florida. While we remain a federally-chartered, not-for-profit financial cooperative, JAXFCU has expanded in recent years to serve a five-county area in Northeast Florida, including Duval, Clay, Nassau, Baker and St. Johns Counties.
