In the Spring of 2000, Vision Bank opened its doors for business in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Nearly three years later in January of 2003, we expanded our service area to include the Panhandle of Florida. Currently, as we approach our ten year anniversary in the Spring of 2010, Vision Bank employs over 220 individuals in eighteen branch locations. Our footprint stretches throughout local communities from Daphne, Alabama, to Tallahassee, Florida.

The organizers of Vision Bank knew the importance of having a team of leaders with experience and proven track records in the business community. Our executives have many years in the banking profession with a significant part of their experience concentrated in our unique market areas. The diversity of their experience and management styles helps to make our company strong. In 2007, we were acquired by our parent company, Park National Corporation, which is located in Ohio. We have continued to remain a community bank and have retained our same name, same employees, and same senior management team that we had prior to becoming an affiliate. Park National holds $7 billion in total assets and consists of thirteen community bank divisions which include Vision Bank and two specialty finance companies. Our banking philosophy, work ethics, customer service focus, and local community involvement are perfectly meshed with the priorities of Park National Corporation. Today, Vision Bank functions like a small community bank with the same services as the big banks, coupled with the strength, security, and long standing stability of our parent company, Park National Corporation.
